hey guys, great site here. had a quick question, i did a search and couldn't find the right info. can you swap a 2006 style hood onto a 2007+ car? i like the update engine the '07 z's have, but i am not a huge fan of the new hood. i think the 06 hood follows the lines of the car better. so i just wondered if the 06 hood would fit on the 07+ cars? any help would be appreciated, thanks

 

doubt it... the HR engine is physically a little taller than the DE, probably making the 2006 hood not fit

At first I didn't like the hood but its growing on me. But I agree with you, 06" > 07"+

 

No, the bump is there because the front stut tower bar (I think) and the HR engine is taller.

Pinstripe two lines on the hood?
