Hey all, i just got a good deal on the floor box (glove box). I plan to install it behind the drivers seat for extra storage for air pump, jumper cables. cleaning products etc... anyone do this mod? if so any suggestions to installing it?

 

Oh yea i looked and i think after removing the bose speaker cutout this will align up with no issues also noticed a bracket already there for the glove box i am guessing they designed it to be both RHD and LHD ready. there are even notches on the panel for the hinge

 

Yes, a few people have done this to their cars and Performance Nissan used to sell a complete kit to you allow you to do so.

I read all those posts prior to purchasing the spare box from someone parting out a interior on here. I just need help to figure out how to get the hinge to work.

 

Didnt you just say that there are already holes in the cutout for the hinges. Its been done before, a couple times as you can see in those threads. Just read it and copy them...done. Good luck

 

Yea i noticed the holes were there... we will see I haven't seen the box lid yet its in route via UPS. I will post some pics when i get this done. Thanks for the encouragement. If i fail its only $50 bucks.
