seibon vs front lip

has anyone encountered problems withthe fitting on this lip?a body shop told me they had to cut my lip and drill holes on the center piece.wtf!!!any help right now would be awesome...thanks

The bodyshop had to remove the front bumper, not just install it. The start from the middle and move to the sides.
