I'm looking at a few 2007-2008 350Z's. I test drove some already but they were all stock (which is what I'm looking for). There's one local that has nismo intakes. I'm not sure if there was anything else he messed around with and I don't know what's stock or not. Is the Z behind the passenger seat supposed to be there?

 

Yes it is supposed to be there.

would be damn funny though if someone did it aftermarket and only did one side. LOL. Only the vendor is that dumb.

 

It's actually a new feature called "Passenger Ejection & Disposal Object" otherwise known as the PEDO-seat. Basically functions as rocket propelled ejection seat to get rid of annoying/loud/ugly/stupid passengers without stopping and pulling over. As a bonus, you will end up with a spiffy sunroof (on one side of the car) after.
