Some people just don't like GT wings. I know most poeple like the nismo wings, but don't like it's base. It is heavy too. I had an idea to make the nismo wing into GT wing. I made a set of custom base legs. I have 2 versions FRP and carbon fiber. Here is the proto types: (This is proto type. not on sale yet)

 

Good idea! Could look nice, but I'll have to hold my opinion until I see it on a Z.

 

I love the GT style wing w/ carbon fiber. I'll probably have to get that one if the price is reasonable.

 

I like the carbon-fiber version.

We'll make the leg a bit shorter. This one looks a bit too high. There will be a Z logo on the legs. We'll leave it flate black to match up with carbon fiber. I'll set a price once we have tht final version. Next week I'll have the legs CNC custom make.

 

Do that without the metal stands... do fiberglass in BODYCOLOR, and I will order one...

 

Yeah, what Evil350z said! I am down for one and long as the stands are fairly slim.

i have been trying to convince jay (aka evo-r) to cut off that ugly nismo base

i just got off the phone with him ....and he is going to have the wing in CF..including the stands in CF....

to all those that are confused

he is going to cut the ugly part of the "stock" nismo base..and just leave the two posts ..and he going to wrap the posts in CF..which means a full CF wing

IMO the gt wing isnt bad either..but ive been wanting a full CF

im going to take my car to jay sometime next week so he can take pictures of the wings on my car

he is going to take a picture of the nismo GT and he also has a balsarini style in CF

Price not set yet, but should be below 400. (carbon Fiber) We'll only offer carbon fiber version.

 

Well thats too bad. I dont really want a carbon fiber one. I plan on painting the wing to match the car, so i didnt want to waste the extra money on carbon fiber. But i guess i can just paint the carbon fiber wing anyways.

yeah, as you can see im not to worried about the weight. this is my daily driver, i just want it to look better.

 

So would the $400 include the mounts? And how would the mounts look. Would they be the gt style or other. I'm really thinkin this and a lip would look sweet. Guess i'd have to get some sides skirts and some coil overs too. And while i have the wheels off i might as well get some stoptechs. Oh god, it's started.

 

I'm going with GT style and CF version. It will be sold with alll the mounts and accessories. We have a front lip on our product line. Let me know if you are interested.
