Default can anyone tell me why this costs so much?

unless im missing something, shouldnt a simple peice of carbon fiber cost less than $835?

granted its imported from japan, but their are cf hoods that cost less than this.

no, because mine's junk along with stuff from ARC and other companies, you are paying for a name not the product itself.

Also because if you look around on that site, most of the prices are ridiculous.

At that price a fiberglass hood would cost one million dollars.

It's possible that the carbon fiber is covering a solid gold filler.

Your paying for the name and the design, that is not made by anyone. God knows cuss I have tried to talk jim from showstopper to make it and even Peter from M1. God I would kill for this part!

Yea bulletproof is horable with there prices. There worst price gougers than the saudi royal family.

Lately the car has really been sluggish and I bet it's due to all of the drag created by the door handles ending so abruptly. I was considering selling the car. Are you telling me that for a measly $835 I can reduce the overall aerodynamic resistance and therefore keep driving the car??????? That's a MUCH cheaper solution!
