But what im wondering is has anyone done 20-30k hid's? ive seen some that are really deep blue that look really good, what do u know about these cuz ive seen some that are pink and some that are deep blue at same 20-30k why is that? It really depends on the brand of HIDs. Most brands start turning purple/pink once you go over 10,000K. I definitely wouldn't recommend going over 10,000K.

When you're buying aftermarket HIDs they should have some shots of all the different color temperatures so you can compare; however, I'm pretty sure 10,000K from a good brand is about the color you're aiming for...

The higher K (Kelvin) you go the less light output you will have. If you go that high you wont be able to see anything. Personally if you want to see better at night I recommend staying with stock which I think is around 4000-4500K and the highest I would go would be 6500K and will give you a nice blue. Don't buy HID's just to have ricer blue lights like every Honda Civic owner. If you stay with what I recommend you will be safer at night and be able to see very nicely.

Sure. You can go blue. May not be able to see at night but it will look cool.

If you care more about looks than being able to drive at night, you should just replace your headlights with blue neon signs that say "Look At Me!"

Higher the k, the more ricer and less output you'll experience.

4300k stock, 5000k whiter, 6000k is a happy medium, 8000k is rich blue, 10000k is blue/purple.

maybe it's a show car guys.

if it's a street car, don't put in anything more than 6000k for yours and others safety please

10000K isnt purple at all guys, 10000k is aqua and 12000k-15000k is violet, less lumens but appears brighter. the temp most people go with and like the most is 8000k which is blue.
