the way i removed it as some others have was by using dental floss. that emblem came right off. i was really surprised. then i was left with that gluey gunk. i scraped off most of it with my fingernail, but i couldn't get it all off. then i used my trusty gs-27 scratch remover liquid. that took off the remaining gunk right away. i wiped down the area with some alcohol and then i stuck the "fairlady z" emblem on. really easy with the built-in template. then i reapplied polish to the area. DONE.

the whole process was so unbelievably easy. i dont know what i was so worried about.
