I thought Carbon fiber replacemement kits were supposed to be out.

I dont care for the stick on look and am anxious to buy a replacement set of true cf stuff.

I already know about pinnacle liquids dash painting, but this does not appeal to me.

Does anyone know when the real deal is coming out?

 

IPT is working on a full dash replacment in real CF from what I heard.

not sure how much longer, but as long as their workin on it, thats good enough for me.

 

$320 a set. I did not buy because I'm painting dash.

yeah a very nice price, sounds like a stick on...

 

Yahoo link does not work but for $320 I find it hard to believe it is a complete replacement piece.

 

just keep in mind guys that the Japanese replacement piece will not fit on our cars due to the right hand drive...the guages are pointed the wrong way...may be other issues too.

is that stuff no good? i saw it on a vehicle on ebay and it looked sweet....please tell me your thoughts be4 i buy it..joe

 

That company sands down your current piece and paints it so that it appears to be carbon fiber. People who have it seem to be satisfied but my reservation is that it's a lot of money for a product that isn't true CF. My advice would be to wait 3 weeks until after sema and see what's released there. IPT seems to make excellent stuff and will be debuting their true CF dash there.

 

can't seem to get any samples from IPC before making a purchase decision....

 

That website provides stick-on stuff. this thread is about finding cf replacement dash pieces.
Currently the only replacement product is pinnacle liquid, with them though, you still have to send in the pieces to get it done. And they just paint the pieces
