As far as I know it's a Evo-R wing. I asked the people I was buying it from and they said it was. There are no logos, so I can't tell for sure. I didn't buy it directly from Evo-R. I tried but, they didn't have any "good" wings in stock. That's a whole other story.

I'm going to give it 1 more shot this weekend. Maybe I could use some type of glue at the corners? Is that possible guys? I hate to give up on this thing now, I have put allot of time into it.

Oh yeah, had my windows tinted this weekend too, my driver's side is already peeling up All this on my birthday, so far 27 is sucking pretty bad.

here is were I got the wing:

How did you trust them in the first place? I tried to find their address... but I can't even find that.

paint is slick... nothings coming to mind that will stick to it very well. other than double face tape of course.

gotta be careful, cause if you bend it and cracks, your SOL.

Ive seen some VERY sticky double face tape(the stuff they use for the side emblems comes to mind since Ive been around it) it ise way stickier than your standard stuff, but most importantly you need something that will stay sticky at 130degrees or so.

A friend of mine had this similar problem....

Set your wing in the driveway on sunny day for a few hours with the inside facing up. The heat should curl the spoiler a little or at least, back to the form that it was intended to be. (leave it on a towel so it doesn't scratch)

Shortly after that...reinstall your spoiler. It should sit even and stay that way.

If it is bought from us we'll take full responsibility, but this wing was not bought from us.

Yeah, that's what I did. I forgot to mention that in my post. Thanks for the advice though. I'll try to mount it again this week, I'll let you guys know what happens.

it should melt to the curve of the car of that were going to work.

what is the deflection temp or glass transition temp of the resin you used evoR? that should give a ballpark of the temp you will need before its gonna start bending. tho with the carbon in there, it will most likely come back to the origonal shape unless you can get it to the transistion temp(thats when hard resin becomes soft again) thats not gonna be any low number, certainly not gonna happen with a hair dryer or the sun. an oven MAYBE.

Ares,
How about you just start making wings so I can avoid this problem in the future.

not so far, but there are running jokes about my college from what I hear. my car isnt really out of the norm, I park with IS300 330ci, and FX35. so not quite like I have a shiny car parked with the rusty buicks sticking out like a sore thumb.

but nope, in my year with the car there, no troubles other than a few door dings from the small spots.
