Default Is your front lip scraping? I think I've got a solution...

I just cut out a piece of aluminum and used Betalink-k1 spoiler adhesive and attached to the bottom of my CF lip as a skidplate

I'll paint it black tomorrow after the gooey glue dries.

Update: ok the painted pic is now attached. not too bad eh? I should mass market these

Only now your lip looks funny. Post some pictures after you paint it black...I'm curious to see what it will look like.

maybe mount it back 1/4" from the edge of your lip and paint it black.

About two weeks after my V2 kit got painted, I had to flatbed my car to the dealer. I took a chunk out of the lip when unloading it.

Doing that will probably not prevent scrapes on the lip from dips though
So it's either you mount the aluminum like he did and have it show, or scrape

I don't care too much about minor scrapes though. I also have the carbon fiber Veilside lip with plenty of scrapes underneath it. But as long as you're head isn't under the lip, you can't see the scratches anyways

yeah i mounted exposed on purpose. You can see it now cuz I left it like that on purpose to take pictures. It won't be as visible once painted.

It's CF, keep scraping it and there won't be much left to scrape. I'm not into the ghetto broken front lip look with strains of CF showing

Fine then, how about 1/8" behind the edge?

LOL then you'll have a problem with the diffuser scraping and you'll have to make another skid plate for that.

Thats a smart lil trick to a common problem. Im real pist i didnt take my lip off for the winter. Going into my driveway with snow that iced over scraped and gashed the bottom of my lip. Now im debating having it fixed (**** like that) or going with a new Nismo V2 front bumper. I just love how clean the V1 lip is though.

Lowered with a lip and I won't even be able to get into my driveway as it has a big curb and inclined. Not a fan about parking on the street either.

I thought about it, but figured it would look silly

Too late for me...my lip has already sustained pretty significant damage. Neat idea though.
