I have been searching to try and fine a for sure answer before I buy it, if I have 03 HID's and I buy 06 headlights and the bulbs for the 06 then it will work with my HID system right?

 

Yes it will work. It is a direct replacement as long as you are going from '03 HID to '06 HID. Just make sure that the '06 HID's you are purchasing come with the bulbs and ballast......they normally do.

I was wanting to know if new 06 bulbs would pej in my ballast. Why is it that every time someone posts something there is that one ****** that says search this is not a word document that everyone just reads. People are suppose to post things. I know its a radical concept but if you don't have anything helpful to say then just save your and my time and just go on.

 

but what you don't understand is that this question has been asked numerous times over and over again. Either mods have to move,delete,merege, etc.. this thread bcuz it clutters the boards.

Yes people are supposed to post things, but imagine what it would look like if mods did not police the forums and monitor all the newb questions. You would have 100's of the same damn thread over and over.

d2r bulbs will work in the 03.

 

oh, i get it now. yes the ballasts are compatible with either version of headlamps.

 

just like there is the one (onr in this case, the many) that claim they searched for the answer but in reality they made a new thread looking for a fast answer because they did not want to wade through the drivel of the other threads created for the very same reason. now you can add this one into that drivel and make it harder for the next person that searches for an answer. way to go.
