Default Rear Hatch problem

I searched but didnt find what I was looking for.
I havnt driven my Z in about a month because the weather sucks so it has been sitting in my driveway . I start it about once a week or so.

Tonight I go to unlock it, I clearly hit the door unlock only and the rear hatch unlocked and popped up with the doors being unlocked...so I shut the hatch and locked the doors. Pushed the doors unlock only again and again the hatch popped open...wtf is going on.

Problem with the lock mechanism on the hatch?

To get this clear...

Push unlock button:

once: driver door
twice: passenger door and hatch

If you lock all the doors, is the hatch still able to be opened?

I just took the spare and stuff out of the hatch to see and there was about half an inch of f.ckin water in the spare tire well...ok idk if that would make the hatch do that or not but i know it doesnt help.

edit: got all the water cleaned out of the trunk and the hatch was still doing the same thing. Now I know that I press the unlock one time and the drivers door unlocks and the hatch pops but the pass. door stays locked so Im thinking the water has it messed. My Z is f.cked up

The water would have shorted something or permitted rusting.
