Fully aware that you're going the flat black route, as Motormouth said, I think it wouldn't look all that bad on PPW. Or of course, painted white. In your case, I like the idea of the flat black, or painted to match your body color.

Sandblasting is media blasting, using sand as the media. In this case, sand is WAY too abrasive. I found a guy who blasted with baking soda as the media, and even then he explained to me that he turned "it" down as low as "it" would go. I assume "it" was "pressure", but I could be wrong.

Never thought of using baking soda as a blasting agent. I'll give this a thought when I paint mine.

cincity did try the LED's on the bridge above the lens. it did look pretty sweet with led's in that location. can't wait for the final pictures! you should install the sti clear lens while you have your lights separated. you can order them off ebay.
