headlights!
hey again...
So my car is now fixed. Now i have another problem..yes yes My z has more problems than a 90 year old man with his sex life. okay, ew. sorry.
I need to change my whole HID module, as the previous butthole owner did a shitty job with that part.
i heard the Hid modules are extremely expensive for those like me that are poor.
so how bad does a Z with just normal Halogens would look? haha
oh yeah, and how much a pair of the headlights cost, those need to be replaced also errr!
Like i said, i bought the car for being a nice car that it is, but the whole headlight situation is screwed..
help me out, and im liking the forums lots of good threads
edit: if you got a extra pair of the headlights assembly, let me know!

Well here it goes.
There are two different headlights for the Z. halogen and HID. The bulb housings are different for these to accompany the different bulb bases.
By replacing the HID module, do you mean replacing the ballast? The ballast isn't hard to replace, neither is the bulb or anything like that. Costly? Most likely. Around $300 depending on your application.
New headlights cost:
base (non-HID): $366.80 each
HID 03-05: $586.66 each
HID 06+: $714.74 each

But then I came across this on ebay, which is "supposedly" both complete kits (left + right) for $275 total. Do you think it is too good to be true? Or maybe it's just the inside bulb & ballast parts?
EDIT: Found my answer! Looks like someone else here tried these, and has, uhmmm... referred to them as POS!
