The HVAC plus AC lines are right around 20lbs.

Yeah yhe hatch is a heavy bastard. I took the glass out and weighed it.. Was like 15 lbs. I was just curious is anybody has weighed the hatch after doing something like this
Not specifically, but to everyone that posts weights with no pic.
I think the point of the thread was to have evidence of what each part weighs and to cut down on the spread of inaccurate information.

We dont all have fancy weed selling scales laying around... I use a bathroom scale weigh myself 3 times, then weigh myself with the part 3 times... Then subtract...
I really should get a sweet drug kingpin scale though.
I was actually thinking that latch would be more like 5 lbs... Kinda sucks its only 1.

^I hear ya and I agree with that statement ...
but it did happen...if youre weighing a control arm or a exhaust manifold then yes it's cut and dry but a bucket of sound/heat deadening is somewhat subjective...

I dont have a picture of the **** on a scale but I also know that I didnt collect every chip ... but if you want me to back into an exact weight of ~4 gallons of tar/sound deadening I'm sure I can...for reference 4 gallons of water weighs 32 lbs...so I think my 15lbs is about right...
