Default Nismo V2 or Veilside V1 Lip

I should have just taken the darn lip off for winter but I slacked. I went to the Ski Stop to buy some things for my snowboarding trip and they decided to add lil curb stops to every other parking stall. I parked in one that did not have one. Well the 1 next to it stuck out far enough to catch my Front lip and literally ripped the right side rite off.

So, now that its jacked I'm considering a new bumper replacement. I really like the clean look of the V1 Lip, but the Nismo V2 Bumper looks so sexy, just not sure how it will look with out sides and rear.

Here's a pic of the car, what do you guys think? This is not meant for bashing this is simply to get the opinions of guys on this forums who actually contribute.

If you're not getting sides or rears, the v1. The nismo v2 you need to get the sides and rear because it'll just look way too weird. I love both. I have the vs v1 but I sometimes want the nismo v2 as well.

I figure if I go V2 I would get the sides in time. For now I have a cracked front lip hanging off my car. LOL

Due to a steep driveway I have to stick with my veilside V1 lip instead of getting the nismo V2 front bumper, so now I am also considering getting the full V1 lip kit. Although the other day I saw a picture on here of a red Z with veilside V1 front lip and nismo v2 side skirts and rear add-ons and it actually looked pretty good. So I might end up going that way.

Another idea I had was V1 front lip with amuse sides and nismo rears. Hmmmmm....

To answer your question, I think the rest of the car will look kinda naked if you just do V2 front bumper and leave the rest stock.

VeilSide Ver. 1

The warranty deal should be icing on the cake.

Yeah I hear that. I actually just saw images of a V2 bumper with V1 side skirts and it looks sick.

With the purchase of any VeilSide parts, you get a warranty plan.

Let's say you buy the lip spoiler and it breaks tomorrow, next week, in 6 months, next year, whatever.... you can buy a replacement part for 50% off.

Obviously FRP/CF parts will probably break at some point in time if you drive a car everyday, so this is quite useful. I don't know of any other company that does something like this.

Hit a curb and break the lip? That's covered.
You hit a tire on the highway and your lip is beyond recognition? That's covered.
You have a friend drive your car and smash the lip up a driveway? That's covered.

I don't know about you, but I've gone through a LOT of fiberglass kits on my own car. Not once did some other company think about giving me half off on a new one.

Win win situation you got here. How much does this warranty cost? I've been debating about the v1 lip as well...this should be interesting

The warranty doesn't cost anything extra.

It comes free with any VeilSide parts you buy.

It's just something to say thanks to the customers.

So would we have to ship the destroyed lip back to you guys or how does it work? Sounds like a great plan

OP, if you don't plan on getting sides or rear, the v1 looks awesome. Plus, with this warranty issue, it definately can't hurt.

BTW, since his lip is cracked now, can he purchase a lip from you guys for 50% off?

Damn, tough call. I love the Nismo V2 for the clean look but you need sides for sure.
The polycarbonate Veilside V1 is subtle but it's extremely durable ===> A factor that has not let me cross over to anything else.

We will either ask you to send us photos of the part totally destroyed or we will ask to send us the small piece that is stamped with VEILSIDE inside.

As long as I can look up the original order, the warranty thing is fine.
