so ive had my 08' Z for almost a week now and i wanna start playing around with it. i dont plan on making drastic changes... or at least not yet... but one of the first things i want to do is change those ungly amber turn signals, front and back. i also plan on getting those LED front bumber light strips. i just bought white LED license plate lights and reverse lights.

i have noooo idea what colors i should make the blinkers. i was thinking white also, but then i thought that may be overkill on the white. another thing stopping me is that the interior is orange and red lighting... so another thought for the blinkers were red LEDs front and back. wit that i feel like i need the front bumper reflectors to be red instead of white. i dont want to make it gaudy looking tho....

anybody have any sugggestions? pics would be awesomee

btw, my Z is black on black, completely base stock as of right now

I'm thinking if you put red on the front of your Z you will be asking for trouble from the police. I don't think you can have red or blue on the front anywhere in the country.

 

very true.. i liked the back signals red mainly bc they would match the taillights... but i think it would look stupid if i have the front and back blinkers diff colors...

I suggest that you leave it alone. Save your money and buy a more useful mod that wont have you getting pulled over (especially if you frequent NYC a lot).

 

What about amber LEDs?
