Default Changing HIDS in 06+ headlights

hey guys ive researched this and found a bunch of things but most of it has to do with 05 hid conversions, i was wondering i wanted to upgrade my factory 4300 k hid bulbs to 6000k, would i jus need to swap the bulbs out with a D2s or D2r?,or is there anything else required..like rewiring or anything of that nature, thanks. and yea these are for 06 plus headlights

03-05 D2R
06+ D2S

If you have HIDs and are simply looking to replace the bulbs... that's all that needs to be replaced.

5000-6000k is the sweet spot for acquiring a bluish color without losing a significant amount of light output.

just so you know, the D2S bulbs will not work with the 03-05 lights, you have to use the D2R bulbs

Why would you want to downgrade to 8k bulbs? You can barely see anything with 8k,nothing but blueness. Way to go......

^ yes you have to take them apart. the clear lens will give you a more defined cutoff and a purple flicker which looks awesome and will look even better with 6000K if you decide to do it in the future. i love my 6000K even w/out the clear lenses
