Just wondering how to remove the HID bulb from OEM 2006+ headlights . Which way do you twist or can you pull them straight out? I had a quick look, but didn't manage. I don't want to break them, so anyone a hint?

Not sure, but if you havent, you'll want to disconnect the battery before you touch anything HID related.

 

im not sure if its the same, but im replacing mine on my 03... im putting some d2r 10000k. i'll take some pics and post them if its a similar process

 

From my experience with mine, there is a metal tab that pulls over and behind the bulb then the whole bulb assembly twists maybe a quarter turn the pulls straight out then just pull out the hid bulb by the base of the bulb!!! Thats how I did mine on my 06 and it works just fine!!!

remove white round cap counter clock, take off silver harness by turning from like 12 to 11 oclock and pull off, then squeeze the two (V shaped) metal prong like things holding the bulb in and it pulls down out of the way and the bulb removes easily and then reverse to put it all back
