I wrapped my door handle covers for both driver and passenger side.

how does this material hold up against the sun? during the hot summer cali days, I will have a sun visor to reflect the sunlight away, but it will still be pretty hot inside the car, if I leave the car parked under the sun. does this material fade fairly easily? does the glue damage the dash pieces if it was removed later?

It does not fade from the sun. The glue DOES NOT damage anything if you want to return to stock later on. Just need some elbow grease to remove the residue, with the help of rubbing alcohol, its cake to do.

I did the top of the gauge cluster above the steering wheel. Kind of a fragile piece, but worth it.

Will post pix soon.

The top piece comes right off, but you have to be careful because the LED boards on both sides (that light up the light dimmer/ odometer reset) needs to be taken off. You have to be careful with the screwdriver. Use electric tape for the shaft on the screwdriver so you don't short anything.

how did you guys took out the top piece of the speedometer?

Here is a pic of how my top part above the gauges look like now. Mine you that I have 5% tint all around, temp outside is nice and chilly 50 degree and a lil warm inside the car. Imagine that in the summer time.

I will take mine off this weekend and get some strong 3M spray. Might try 3M 90 to see how it will hold up in the sun.

Don't use 3M 90. It will be too strong and eat the surface of the carbon look sheet.

It looks as if you didn't wrap enough around the back. You have to glue it underneath.

Yea. I'll remove it later and redo the center console again. The center console wasn't that hard to do so im sure it wont take long.

Thanks man, just leave yourself some excess around the edges. It's always easier to go back in, and restretch than it is to start all over with a new piece because you came up too short.
