yeah you may do good work, but are you bold AND daring?
Id like to wrap my current pet and Im looking for a shop w the chops to pull it off. You would be dealing with a 9 pound American Tabby cat, but there is alot of compound curve work etc, and there is NO way hes taying still for this.. jk.
my ACTUAL question is how you go about your process. Are your edges rolled and finished? Do you mold press or hand lay, do you use vacuum to rid the items of bubbles while drying, and do you remove material from edges so the finished product has the same dimension as the orig, or should i assume it will be thicker? NO harm if the answer is no, just curious was all, and im bored at work.
Reason I ask is that I may want some more interior pieces done, but since i look at them every day, just wondering as the competition is suuuper expensive.
Items in question would be the dash airbag cover, drivers dash, steering wheel cover, top and bottom all in 2x2 weave. Im just worried about the seams, the gap clearances etc.. snug fitting pieces, right in front of my face everyday.
Again just curious.

All good questions u have. I do not wrap the cf around the edges of anything because it would almost definitely NOT fit when complete. I wrap and trim the cloth right to the edge and the weave stays staraight and clean right up to the edge. I use a vaccum bag on pieces that are very tricky sometimes. But most of the time I just handlay...The cf is so thin and I use as little resin as possible. Very very rarely(pretty much never) do I have problems with fitment when done...PM me with any questions or pieces u want done...Out of breath!! Wew

And yes, the competition out there is RIDICULOUSLY SUPER EXPENSIVE which is y I hardly ever go down on my prices...I've dealt with people that do this work before I got into it and they charge as much as 3 times what I do...
