Is this 100% CF? And what about the pricing. I was looking to get the ARC titanium cover, but if this is 100% CF and the price is right, I might consider.

There's a japanese company that has one also, don't know the name of the company but their piece covers the air intake area. If you can produce something similar to that, then I'm definitly interested.

I'm not sure but this looks to be not 100% real carbon fiber the weaves are not that tight and it has got some major shine to it seems like it is clear coated !!!

If so NO!!!!

It will yellow and crack like the Prouder Shrouds from Japan

IPT

Just my 2 cents from a Carbon Fiber Expert

That would be Prim@ru which can be
seen here.

I've also seen the same one sold under a different name so not sure who actually makes it.

Thumbs up

From IPT: "It will yellow and crack like the Prouder Shrouds from Japan "

Sorry, but we have Evo-R's CF engine cover (same manufacturing process and material as the radiator cover) installed on a Z for over 4 months already, so far did not turn yellow nor has any cracks on it.

PS. All of Evo-R's carbon fiber products are made from real carbon fibers!

Not sure just asking

So these parts and all of Evo R parts are not clear coated they pop out of the mold looking like that.

I know they use real Carbon Fibers but it is "wet Lamiante " Right ? Not carbon fiber all the way through

Fiberglass under the wings etc.... With carbon layed on top

Im just trying to understand better

If IPT made a wing In carbon fiber like your modena it would cost about 2000.00 Retail

Becasue We work with Prepreged material Vacum bag it and send it into a Autoclave We use No fiberglass All carbon..

IPT

Not ******* you or anything just trying to understand your process a little better ..

Dont get me wrong it looks sweet

thats not a replacment peice, meaning it just adds whatever it weighs. does look good.

yellowing should be to a minimum since its under the hood, ussually its the UV that causes yellowing, no?

This is NOT a stick on piece, it's a bolt on piece using existing fasteners!

well means of instalation, that peice its going over is still much bigger, all I was meaning. cant reduce weight unless your replacing something, but from what I know of that area, that surface is part of a much larger peice. this would just go over the part you see, and thus, not a weight reduction peice.
