Hey man, I feel for ya. When I got my car 3 years ago or so, it was perfect. Now, not so much. Nothing that isn't easily repairable, but sucks nonetheless.

I got mine (two separate "incidents") going into my garage. My former roommate had a big *** F150 and always parked in the middle(ish) of the driveway. Out of the thousands of times I parked in the garage, I hit that focker twice, once backing up and once pulling in (both at maybe 2 MPH. Nothing worse that knowing you messed your own car up.

My damage included dented fenders that I pounded out myself (for the time being) that actually looks decent, a very slight crease in the front of the door that nobody seems to notice, and a scrape on my mirror. I figure I might as well just fix it all at once when I get my kit put on and save on paint costs.

Can't wait to see it after the fix man, keep your head up.

yep ... you are right. i did some research and it looks like a cage is a must with cf doors...

i think i will just have the insurance fix it then. if the " preferred " body shop screws it up, they will have the extra $ to fix it... they can always adjust the estimate that they did...

Did it take anyone else like 5 mins to find out what he was trying to explain with the pictures. I honestly thought it was just two pictures of the door and the white part was just a glare from the light.

I thought the same, and it seriously took me at least 5 minutes to realize it was actually messed up. I was thinking "so....you did it. What is it you did? It's a picture of a factory 350z door".
