Default Suggestions

I have a 2005 350z, looking to replace the dash housing for the shifter. My current one is all scratched up. Dealer wants approx $150.

I would prefer to send less.

well, that's life. you can either;
a) get a better paying job so you don't have to worry about the cost
or
b) live with the scratches since it is a car and things like that do happen, and will probably happen again no matter how much you spend.

Wow, what a helpful suggestion.

You can check in the for sale section and see if anyone is selling the dash pieces, I see them occasionally. You can also post in the "wanted" section and see if someone has one to get rid of. Even so, $150 doesn't sound too bad considering.

Cold yes, but he has a bunch of posts!!!!

Anyway, try Concept Z Performance. I found you one for $88 plus $10 for shipping. This is Nissan OEM. Here is the link:

I have dealt with them recently and had a great experience. Good luck bro.

Thanks for suggestions. I agree I should get a better job, however, if your not aware of our current state of our job market, I will tell you it doesn't look good.

The reason I do not want to pay $150 of it is because it will happen again. I love my Z but the interior wasn't Nissan's forte.

jek1000 thanks for the link. If i did the math correctly 150-88=72 a $72 difference, maybe I dont have to get a new job.
