I would be afraid the sun would bake it on? Im hoping to get the roof on my PPW painted black this summer. Go for it, if you dont like it you can always peel it off

It is a perfect alternative to paint because no one can tell, if it is done cleanly, and with a silver car, take it off when you want to sell the car and there is no evidence of it being there.
I say do it, it will be sexy as hell.
Just use soapy water and a heat gun/blow dryer and it will never come off until you want it to.

Oooohh, ok, you said vinyl roof, and I was thinking '70s vinyl!
My fault, I think the pics look good, and a decent alternative to painting the roof. At least you can peel the vinyl if you get tired of it. It looks good, I like the matte on the PPW, its interesting.
