^^^Just get some black ATV silicone from Wal-Mart. It works fine. A good way to test the seal before putting the lights back on the car is to leave them on the bathroom counter while running the shower on its hottest setting to fill the room with steam. If steam can't get past the seal, rain won't either. I have seen too many members put their lights back on the car only to remove and reseal them after the first rainfall.

OP: Nice work but this is the wrong forum for it. DIY area is for posting instructions on various projects, not for results of DIY projects!

Those of you planning on using a heat gun, be SURE you know what you're doing. The slightest slip will cost you a new light (at least one). It can be easier if used correctly but it is damn dangerous for a novice, IMO.

I use heat guns around electronics at work. So +1 on being careful. Since the heat is so concentrated it can be 1 second of looking away when someone calls you before a fuuuuuuuuuuuuu comes out

true that.. the oven is very reliable if you just stick to what you do right the first time and dont try to cut corners or speed it up..

Oven at 250 for 12+ mins on cookie sheet. Don't worry about disassembling, and use the gloves on your hands, no need to stuff into the lights to protect anything.

250 is enough to soften the sealant without risk of damaging anything else. Obviously, make sure no part of your headlight is touching a heating element.
