Which ass is fatter ? My z or supra ? You be the judge !!
LOL !!! Kyle thanks for the props and setting that post ST8 !! Folks, Kyle has a MA70 Supra that he converted to JDM right hand drive with the yamaha hi -revving limited production motor swapped in. He told me a funny story once the cops pulled him over in PSL locally and went to the left side expecting to see the driver and had to do a double take when they found his wife sitting in that seat as a passenger !!!

JDM ALL THE WAY BABY !!

supra and z rivalry has been around forever, since the cars were created. both cars are obviously great being that they have such a cult following.. very fun cars. typically tjough, the supras end up being more powerful while the Z's tend to handle better - but that all can be changed depending on tune.
as for your friend having a rhd converted car, i dont see the benefit when youre living in the states. besides the jay-dee-emm cool factory, its only useful if you're delivering mail. otherwise, sitting on the right-hand side will actually hinders driver visibility. not only do i hear this from my skyline customers, but there are studies being done to outlaw RHD vehicles from being imported and street-driven in certain provinces in Canada.
anyway, nice car(s). if you're a speed freak, do yourself the favor and pickup an ariel atom. you'll easily sell one of the cars after driving the atom.

both cars look good. i dont care much for the supra's gauge-ridden interior, but it looks fine. the car is a bit over-cooked in my opinion, but thats pretty typical of you floridians. ;-)

I am not a self proclaimed master of automotive knowledge, quite the contrary which is why I read forums, to expand my understanding in any given subject.
I wrote my comment in such a way as to leave the invitation open for anyone to enlighten me where my understanding is flawed, until someone can
do that and not just berate then there is nothing to discuss. I did a 12 second
Google search using a simple search parameter and found this link:
What determines a car's max speed?.
Without going into the entire thread details or even automotive engineering
the first few posts touch base on the same areas I did, gearing, RPM as
well as some I didn't like aerodynamics and tires.
As for the post I made that you quoted, I fail to see the connection between driving a car at high speeds vs knowing how to build such a car. A lot of thought has gone into that planned trip. My wife and I both will be taking a series of controlled high speed driving lessons. There are three recommended schools in NJ alone. I have already driven across Europe once before several years ago and have driven cross country 6 times in my 20's so driving long distance and knowing how to do it responsibly is not a foreign concept.
I lack experience handling a car at high speeds but I am aware of this and doing what I can do to correct it, learn from someone else.
That having been said, aside from an attempt at berating me, how was your post constructive?

Well I don't know what you are trying to say but, first my Supra was born and raised in NYC not Fl (lol), I assume you have never driven a modded supra with at least 600 hp at the wheel, but I don't think the Z and Supra ever had a rivalry cuz the 2 cars are like apple and oranges, and JDM is nothing about being kool, if you are really into Jap Cars like me, you willl gain a certain respect for the Japanese people and their culture, and you start to emulate their style almost like a tribute to them and their genius !!
yeah well if you're into japanese cars, like me, you'de probably want to start showing respect by not calling them jap.
totally jdm.. i cant believe you just said that

My Z's interior is factory except for some CF overlays in Dry Carbon...quite different than my Supra...Hughie..
Mike, the bottom line, my Supra was featured in MODIFIED MAG's Feb 2005 issue with a 9 page center spread, has won every car show it has entered , and dynoed 822 WHP with an AEM ECU that I programmed myself from A to Z !! Everyone has an opinion on my Supe, but 99.99 % of people just love it in real life and in pics !! You are just the few in the .01% group of HATERZ !! But it's all good !!

check the above quote, i already complimented you on your car. if you cant read, thats your problem.
i guess you need a 9-page thread (most of which had advertisements on them) to feel good about a car you own nowadays.
Wow, I did not take it as a compliment, if you are gonna bash the interior.....And you NEED to get off this thread now or post something constructive for a change...
