I have a nismo v2 front bumper laying on the side and I need help deciding on what color scheme to paint it. It is gonna go on a PPW 350z

the grill area is gonna be all black but im debating if i should paint the bottom lip black also or keep it white. the canards are gonna be carbon fiber so that is gonna be left unpainted.

im leaning more towards painting the bottom lip black to match the black canards and my black headlights. And to also give it that more aggressive look.

I am also planning to add a Ings+1 low mount wing, so if i paint the bottom lip black it might match a little better also.

But let me know what you all think, thanks

 

If you're sticking with all white Nismo sides, I'd paint the bottom lip white. IMO the black in the grill area, the canards, and part of the spoiler you're planning black there I think it will all come together.

Black front lip without the supporting black around the sides and rear tends to look out of place, but in the end its your car.

 

+1000. Black lip would look out of place on your car. Just the grill area in black would be enough to look great imo.

 

if u paint the lip black, u should consider getting the roof painted too. The pictures of ppw with black roofs look sick imo.

 

If the bottom of the skirts will be white, keep the front lip white.
If the bottom of the skirts will be black, paint the front lip black.

 

thanks for the suggestions guys, i do agree that since my sideskirts are all white that i should keep the lip of the front bumper white

but ive seen a few of the Z's here that paint the lip black while the sideskirts are all one color, and it doesnt look too bad.

only reason im thinking about painting the lip black is so that it would match up with the canards and my blacked out headlights.

I appreciate all your guys comments and would like a few more to help me make my decision

 

I think the white lip is the way to go.

 

wow, that looks exactly like my car minus the headlights and bumper haha

but ya that looks really good, would anyone be able to do a simple photoshop of my blacked out headlights onto that car to give me an idea of what it would look like?
