Ok. So I have bunch of white scratches on the door handle plastic. I hate the way it looks. It looks so F$UC$KING cheap I cannot stand it. Is there a way to fix that???

 

remove the handles and paint them

I repainted mine, still not happy as my sanding work kinda sucked. I'm going to try covering in black vinyl today. If successful, will post result pics.

 

I went to the dealer and had them replace both on the door rest and the cubby. They replaced it for free...nice!

 

hrmm.. not sure how you guys scratch up your interiors so much. mines a 04 and still looks newish.

happy to know nissan will replace under warranty, i remember having lots of scratches in my 05 a4 and i went to the dealer all ready to yell.... but as soon as the service guy saw it he replaced everything including my radio

thats what i did... that piece from nissan is like 100 bucks... so i just painted it and it looks fine now

Certain years have a coating that is much more easy to scratch. Mine will peel off very, VERY easily.

I need to get some overlays or whatever to replace it. Makes the interior look terrible.

 

im taking mine in a couple weeks to get new ones they said they probably will cover under warranty. Check out the thread called interior decorations that would look sweet, the CF vinyl on the door handles i thought about that as well.

 

I hate it too. My cubby space and my door handle. I talked to a dealer about it and they said they usually would cover it in the first 12 months. So that sucks but it looks terrible and cheap. Makes me rethink owning a 370Z in a few years. My only complaint with the car though.
