I went yesterday to a shop guy and told him, I wanna put my carbonhatch with my stockglass on. he said it will not work, because the glue wouldnt stick the carbon and the glass. I should have put a lexan window with screws on. how did you guys solved this problem? I think 80 % are driving with stockglass on carbon hatch.

As long as you scuff the area where you are going to put the urethane adhesive you will be fine.

 

go to a different glass shop. he should know that

 

i have a carbon hatch and stock window. the widow is fine no leaks and the glue sticks fine this guy has no idea what he is talking about

 

yea definitely go elsewhere....2 years on mine and all good!!

 

Totally false you can put your stock glass on a carbon hatch

 

I have my stock glass in and it's fine, never had any leak issues in over a year

 

try a different place...
