Default FOB battery

I searched (FOB, battery) and nothing.

Can I change the battery myself? if so what type of battery do I need? Will I have to reprogram the FOB?

If I have to take it to the dealer about how much is this going to cost?

Thanks

i believe it is a lithium coin cell. just take the battery out and go to radioshack or somewhere and find the same one. as for reprogramming it, im not sure but there is a thread on programming the fob somewhere on here.

Yes, you can do it by yourself. Check the owners manual, I believe the battery type is listed there. There's nothing to re-program when you change the battery.
