those hideous lights look custom made. never seen those around, even on ebay (though that is where you would expect to see crap like that).

Those lights are custom made using Infiniti Q45 headlights from several years ago (I think).

Those are definately custom made. Those projectors are off of an Infiniti SUV? Looks like they were retrofitted into an '03-'05 housing, you won't find those lights anywhere. Sorry man

Those are custom-made headlights done for an LED headlight project by a company, I forget which one.

Yeah it's a Q45 retrofited in an 03-05 housing.
Here's some more pics I found :

I'm not a huge fan, but it looks somewhat 'okay' in these pics.

Who knows? Haha, probably not I'd assume.
I'm thinking it needs the chrome housing for reflection
for optimum light output... So those were probably just for
a car show or something..

so basically its only custom made from the q45? So I would have to find a q45 and get the headlights from it? haha I really like the way it looks but I guess it wouldnt be practical and probably a hassle.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UNIVE...Q5fAccessories

I found the link from ebay. It says it will fit most cars, but needs some modifying. Where should I go to get this done? Just any automotive shop?

yes, yes, and yes.
but i wouldn't ruin an 08 set of lights... you can easily sell that set for like 700+ (hell I'm even looking for an 06+ Z light set!)
just buy a set of 03-05s for like $200-$400 online...
and you can do the mod yourself.
doesn't seem to hard.. just need to remove the headlights and then open them up (theres guides on here to do that), then then remove the Z projector and fit it in and figure out the wiring and such.

the "roof diffuser thing" you're looking for is called a "vortex generator" and wasn't on the STi, but the Evo. just Google vortex generators and you can find them. other than being for looks, they are worthless.
