Its just painting it properly requires you to remove all the inner panels, removing the engine, etc thats how you'll have flawless colour change and thats a lot of work...
I'm painting my whole car against because i got scratches everywhere. Its black right now, but im thinking of using the paint code off a lambourghini or ferrari... they seem to have more of a shine.. i think its the type of pearl or amount of clear thats being used....
anyways... should I stick with the 350z black or switch it up and paint it using Ferrari's black paint code?
lambo or ferrari black color code has no effect on gloss. i think people get the wrong idea with this kind of stuff. they think that ferrari or lambo actually has better paint.
a nice repaint of stock color with more wetsanding , reclear and buff will result in a much glossier, deeper look.
My Z is superblack but getting painted oem magnetic black. it's done the right way so it will be very slick looking compared to OEM magnetic black.
Stick with gloss. The flat black thing is quickly becoming like the 'time attack' theme. Not saying it doesn't look good, I just don't think it helps the Z's looks.
