Default Please Identify Mystery Parts

These two plastic pieces were removed from my 2005. I do not remember from where. They may be associated with the mud guards, lower engine cover, bumpers (F or R), or exhaust.

Each piece has a sheet metal screw and plastic screw w/plug.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Rear bumper mounts bottom center. These are usually removed with the bumper tuck.

its nothing to do with the undertray (lower engine cover) nor the mud guards.. probably not the front bumper (haven't take the rear off so i dont know there.. and if its plastic probably nothing to do with the exhaust)

if it has a sheet metal screw (they dont match, by the way.. isnt one bigger than the other?) and a push in plastic screw, it's probably attached to the firewall or sheet metal somewhere... if it's out already... why do you need to put it back? forget about it..

maybe check the inside of your trunk area on the sides where the plastic molding is near the spare tire..

it goes under your rear bumper. I just took these off to tuck my rear bumper. If your bumpers not tucked it should be there but I dont think it makes a noticable difference...

I concur. I just did a bumper tuck. Rear bumper in the center area.
