350z main console loose
I removed the main console on my 350z to install a gps, once the console was put back, the top section of the console does not sit flush any more.
has this happend to any one else, and is there a fix, it seems the metal clips are now lose in their holes.
Thanks

I think I know what you mean. I just took mine out to change my gauge lights to blue and I had the same issue. Pull the top back out and feel on the back side in the very center of it, there is a tab that sticks out and needs to slide into a groove on the dash to pull it all back together flush. You can't really see it sitting in the car because its so close to the winshield. Hope this helped.

Did you put all the screws back in?
There are no screws at the top but the sides are critical, also check to make sure no wires are buched up in the wrong place.
I had this happening with mine after installing an aftermarket HU, once I pulled out the big metal frame that held the stock HU in, it went together fine.
Whatever you do, don't push to hard on the three gauges, they pop in pretty easy.
Good luck,

Thanks for your help, I finally removed everything again, notice 2 metal brackets one on each side, these are installed by nissan, but I think everything is a very tight fit, so I bent back on these 2 brackets, much better, not perfect but better.
Thanks for your help, this forum is great
