New look with ASM/ChargeSpeed/SSR/Nismo
#121
So I stopped into Function to see how the work is coming along and they were busy with a few cars, as well as working on mine. Here is some of the work they were doing for the Work Bell Paddle Shifters (Thanks again Z1) http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...or&prodid=2835
... Couldn't leave without staring at the new spoiler again
So next day I receive a call from Dave S. at Function, while at work. Pretty proud of himself and told me what he had done. I couldn't believe it an needed to run over to Function Tuned. He was suppose to install my BRIDE Vorga seats (Thanks CVR Motorsports) that day and they figured out how to.... well lemme show you some of the work:
I walk into the shop and see:
Place usually has a pretty clean set up but I notice some boxes and other items on the floor, MY ITEMS Uh-oh.. wondering if they ran into any problems. Taking a closer look I start to focus on these items.... hmmmm
Closer look...
As they were hooking up the wiring to the resistors so that there would be no AIRBAG light coming on they figured out how to take the heating element out of the seats and install them into the BRIDEs!
Finished product:
I was willing to give up the heated option to get the BRIDE Vorgas into my Z. I barely used the heat but they were a "nice-to-have". But Dave and his crew was able to let me keep that option. Might not add any RWHP but hoping to go down that road soon enough. For now I just keep thinking someday SOMEDAY!!! I will be driving around and I will manage to find Jessica Alba stranded!!!
Woah!!! She's into Z's too!!!!
She slips into my Z, thanks me and then says:
As I hurriedly try to hide the fact that I just turned on the air conditioning full blast. I motion to her to hit the button. YUP!! The heated seat button
She then screams angrily:
I quickly show her the magic that Dave and Ken performed at Function Tuned and she is thoroughly impressed and very thankful for the ride
WHAT!?!?!!? CAN'T A GUY DREAM!?!?!?
Here are a few shots of the Work Bell paddle shifters.
More to come...

Appreciate the compliments again guys.
D&V had another great meet this past weekend and the turn out was even better than the first with a ton of rides coming in from all over. Great food, music, car enthusiasts and give aways coupled with all the great vehicles made for an extremely good time.
Here is the thread that has several posts on photos taken at the meet.

Few shots of my ride with some Function Tuned and D&V collaboration work.
Minor touch ups needed to make the engine bay a tiny bit nicer but at this point very happy with the vehicle.

Nice setup bro.. Appreciate your taste in mods
But one thing I noticed (I havent been through the whole thread, so forgive me if this is mentioned earlier) your rear stoptech caliper is sitting a bit higher than what it should be (somehow aligned with e front caliper) That's why I compared it to my setup (Rotora 6/4), and another nismo Z here with stoptech (6/4)
And here's my Z (sorry not a great profile shot)

but up to my knowledge, you cant fit front calipers in the back right?
and for the placement, the bracket behind the rotors forces the caliper to be bolted to it and to sit in same place as OEM.
