you could also go with the smoked ones for a blacked out look. that should clean it up as well.

I have a jdm set with black outs, i think they would look nice on a black z...

You can take your stock reflectors and paint them with blackout paint (VHT makes it for headlights and taillights). You should be able to get it at any autoparts store. I think blacked out would look best on a black car.
Removing the reflector on the passenger side is a bich (unless you remove the bumper). The one on the driver's side is easy. Just a heads up.
If you buy the clears, I suggest you get the JDM Nissan version. They are a bit more than the ebay/knock offs, but fitment and durability is OEM.
Please explain the bright white ground effects. Neon perhaps?

Here's mine. Some days I like the white reflectors, some days not so much. I think I like them more when it's overcast for some reason haha, don't know why.
