If you're not over doing something, like adding a supercharger blower to your hood like the guy in Youtube.... You're alright... Conformity is ********... Just be tasteful.. So again, **** what everybody else thinks.
Edit: Oh, and I know "tasteful" is subjective.. But taillights? Come the **** on. What's the big deal?

I have these tail lights and there's nothing wrong with them. The tail light has a bubble effect, which actually makes "pop" out, which I'm probably not describing too well right now.
Anyhow, I'd get em and **** what everyone else says.
Edit: Oh and I'm not sure they'll fit if you're 06+.

Thats right. **** what everyone says. So why should the OP listen to you?
My thoughts:
Those have to be the most hideous lights you could put on. The 06+ tails are SOOOO nice! Why would you change them? If you want a different look, why not the JDM tails? Last thing, don't cheap out on your Z, you make all of us Z owners look bad when you install horrible, cheap accessories.
Example= Honda Civic. Please dont "civic" out your car!

More than a dozen posts have said these lights are CRAPTACULAR, one post says they are nice (because they own a set & have to justify their purchase, of course!)
Now YOU be the judge. Do you like them? Then get them, but be warned, if you do get them & mention it/post pics here, you will get no respect from most members & will forever don the flamesuit.
I saw a 350z from Montana up here with ugly-*** ebay "bubble" tails(among other dreadful, tacky exterior mods).... I pulled up beside him, pointed & laughed. Do you want that to happen to you? Because if you put these lights on, it will happen all the time.

OR....you could make an educated response. I used to have these exact ones, twice....and never again. The LEDs WILL burn out soon. I got the second pair after about a year, and THEY burnt out too. So, save your money. Plus, the LEDS are really small, and look funny. This is my experience with these exact lights.
That bubble effect also really messes with the smooth lines of the car.
