3m windo weld ribbon
Any of you guys ever tried using 3m windo weld ribbon to reseal their headlights?
I have condensation in my HLs.
Pls.let me know how this stuff actually works.

you are gunna have to pull them back apart and reheat. you may be able to spot heat it though with a heat gun and just go around it slowly pushing it together. i use a black silicone though and just put it in the crease just incase. if you wiper the excess away while still wet, you almost do not see it at all.
I have tried using the silicone, unfortunately didn't work for me. That's why I opened them up again and now gonna seal with 3m ribbon that I just picked up. I was told by a dealer to use this 3m stuff.

If it was anything like the factory sealant, I would avoid it and stick to the silicone.
The factory sealant was $30 worth of mess and headache. It is too much sealant and as it softened it became very messy.
If I had it to do over again, I would make the silicone work.
