Default Would this fit?

I want to tint the rear window on my roadsters drop-top. Only problem is, I cant tint the side windows as per the law in Alberta. So would tinting ONLY the rear window of a roadster look weird?

One part of me says it will look good & match the roof but another part of me says the tint wont work without the side windows being tinted.

Im stuck on the decision & would like opinions, good or bad.

i dont think itll look weird at all its kinda like tinting all the windows except the windshield type of thing. go for it. as for the debadge i think the roadsters have no holes for the badge so i think they just peel off. looks good. im not a fan of the jdm tails though.

Thanks! Debadging the rear of the roadster is sweet as I have no holes to fill! I wasn't a fan of the JDM clears either until I saw them on a Silverstone. MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmm!

i had a 'vert with a black top that i got the rear tinted. only thing that sucked was that any visibility you might have had left at night is totally gone and diminished during the day.

Yeah, thats one thing Im debating with as well. The ZR already has many blind spots, I feel like Im going to be creating another. I do drive with the top down AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE & the car only get driven in the summer so I'm still 50/50 on it. Plus, it makes my home link dimming rear view mirror pretty useless other than opening the garage.

Hey Z04, could you tell me what % of tint you had on the rear of your convertible? Im either going full limo tint(it may be too dark) or enough tint to "match" the black roof if I do it.

Thanks for your input!

Just go with a 20% or 30% tint on the rear. I personally think as long as you don't go too dark it will look good (maybe 30% would be your best bet). Regardless, you can't have tint any darker than something ridiculous like 70% here in PA... however I'm tinted 20% all around... looks fantastic.

Oh, btw... I know you said don't make fun of your Photoshop skills, but dear Lord. Research "opacity" and "Eyedropper tool"... thank me later.

Yeah my photoshop skills are bad. I've used the program maybe half a dozen times. Thanks for the tips though!
