when I had my cf hood on my 02 accord, it kept wobling on windy days.
But other than that, it is fine.
Dont drive more than 100mph with it, though.

because You will get pulled over by cops, hehehe!

Mine has been on for the last year and been fine...knock on wood lol. Like zkansasz said though it does seem to wobble on windy days...and on the highway if I go over like 80. If you do alot of highway driving you may want to look into hood pins. I may get them down the road but right now my car isn't a daily driver.

I have an Asuka type-1 carbon hood. I opted not to run hood/catch pins and just adjusted my front latch lower so that it locks very tight and secure. Also don't forget to adjust your hood bumper stops so that there is no additional play. When I drive the hood has absolutely no movement and has withstood well over 100mph of driving. With that said, it can be done, but I sure would feel more safer driving fast with a hood/catch pin on.

Hoods pins are alwys recommend for any aftermarket hood, regardless of fitment. The real problem is that the latch mechanisms are held in by resin on all aftermarket hoods, not aluminum or steel like OEM.

My hood is fine. Doesnt shake, doesnt do anything at well over 100 mph. Just take it to a reputable shop and get it installed correctly.

Nope, thats actually pretty common. You didn't purchase the parts directly through SEIBON, so they probably told you to go back to the dealer you bought it from. You will have to call the shop you bought it from and call the carrier who delivered it.

I have an 07 oem style cf hood and anything over 70 it starts to wobble... but i think it's bc i don't have the belly plate under the car... sitting still it's super tight on there I just think there is so much air comming from under the car it's making the hood lift on the sides... I am getting the aero catch

i would never. ever. run an aftermarket hood w/o hood pins.

its a little investment in sparco or aerocatch pins that might save $thousands of potential damage due to a flip up or even worse. losing control and crashing because you can't see $h!7.

installation is very simple and anyone can do it with a good step drill bit and a high speed drill.
