I'm making this post for anyone that is removing the factory seats with airbags. I searched and read for about 30+ minutes trying to find the correct rated resistor to keep the airbag light. Maybe I'm not a master search artist, but I couldn't believe it took that long to find the concrete answer I needed.

For 03-to-06 350z with SRS airag seats, you will need two (2) 2.2 ohm (red,red,gold,gold) 1/2 watt carbon film resistors. Radio Shack does non sell them. I went to 3 Radio Shack stores and at the last one, the girl was nice enough to look 'em up in their database...they don't have them at all; in store or online. She recommended Fry's (for us cali people).

After calling Fry's 4 times and getting left on hold for a ridiculous amount of time (as I was remembering how much they suck for phone help), I took the 10 min drive over there. To my surprise, they had 'em. They come in a 2-pack for .95 cents. Sure beats the competition ($40 nismo ones).

Install is easy: Fold the leads over, make a square "U" shape, shove into the yellow connector, apply tape or a zip tie...done. I bought two packs just to keep a pair in the tool box.

So there you have it.

I know that the Steering wheel and passanger front air bags are differnt, but do the "Side Curtain" and Seat bags works the same?
