Question about epoxy resin, UV Light, and Heat (Yellowing)
As I understand, carbon fiber parts should only be made with epoxy resin, which is already 100% UV resistant (I read that part). But say for this instance, I add a final clear coat that is UV resistant.
Since the clear coat is UV resistant, it protects the part from yellowing from the sun. Will it also protect the part from yellowing due to extreme high heat (i.e. headlights)?
Thanks
