I found this head on shot on my cell phone...the shroud isn't done yet so it doesnt sit flush around the projector.

Here are my suggestions.

1. The shroud needs some work, I think both shape and color need improvement.

2. The little LEDs for the turn signal and parking lights will be impossible to see during the daytime. Instead for the turn signal perhaps find a smaller projector designed for fog lights or something to put above the main projector. Quad projector Z headlights would be cool I think. If you're going to do full custom headlights, go all out.

3. Make the LEDs for the parking lights closer together and use fewer LEDs. Something similar to the stock setup. I personally don't like them all the way down the side like that.

Those are just my opinions, which I know aren't worth much

Appreciate the effort, but those look horrible.

A little bit too much CF, Maybe if certain parts were CF it would be a little less plain looking.

What is $ looking like at this point?

So maybe just wrapping the chrome shroud in the 06+ housing and blacking out the rest?

I'm not paying for these, so I don't know about price.

I appreciate all the constructive criticism. Since no one has done this before, it's going to take some trial and error before we get to the final product. I want them done right, so I am not rushing anything.

and crg's advise isnt that bad

I dont know how to feel about those yet, If the projector area was black I think it would look a lot better!

I'm afraid if you see the image of the whole front end it'll appear the Z is cross eyed.

I agree!

samr--can't wait to see your project!

adam--NO AUDI STYLE LIGHTS!!!!!!! I can't stand the r8 mods. I do like the sequential idea though...just not in anything that resembles an audi

crg--The LEDs are super bright...as in if you stare at them you see spots afterwards lol so them being seen isn't too much of a problem. I'm not too sure what an extra projector would look like on a Z...it looks ok on the G's though.

They are all boxed up and ready to ship back to CiNcity on monday. I'll post updates as I get them.

If its real carbon fiber and you cant get to it (easily that is) wont it fade or yellow from direct sunlight and no wax eventually?
