It's not hard, you do not need a DIY. Take apart the stock one, and put it back together just with the other shifter. Done! Took me about an hour, (taking my time).

 

your stock shift **** is locktite on the shifter threads... it still turns like any other shift **** you just got to find a grip with vice grips or something on the shifter and than find a grip on the shift **** and break it loose.... if that doesnt work than yea just crush and take apart the stock shift **** to get access at taking it off

 

well anyway i made this worthless thread lol. I installed it pretty easy and it feels good.
