I've heard its only about 3-4pds lighter. The stock hood is already light. I will take pictures tomorrow during the 350z meet.

The housing is not blackened, but it does give you a good idea of how it would look like if it was. Devon installed it at Gruppe-S. I will post more pictures at the meet today.

That looks really nice. Hey you live in san jose just like i do. I havent seen a lot of white z's out there. Mine is white too. I bet your cf hood gets a lot of attention . COngrats!!!!

like i said...the only color it looks better on than SS in PPW...

ive gotten a lot of positive feedback

its the "different" factor that people like

wait...i knew i recognized your user name...where are the pics of the walds???

question about the hood quality

at night...if you look under a light does the hood have some "wavy" CF in it....mine has a little..im a little dissapointed but im told that CF can never be wrapped perfectly (cnile told me that..hes the one with the CF daytona blue)

Yup, I'm the one with the Walds. Going to install them this Wednesday. As for the CF hood, I think it looks perfect. It doesn't look wavy. here another pic during the day:
