heh careful, your falling into the ricer life. lots of look fast mods on your car but only 1 go fast mod. dont put the horse before the carraige. make it fast first if its really a track car.

nice lookin wheel none the less, bit leary of the airbag thing, I think the track is the main place Id want an airbag... without a roll cage and 5 or 4point belts, your head WILL become part of that steering wheel GAURENTEED. watch crash tests, airbags are what stop it from happening, the stock seatbelt will not hold you away from it.

looks good fairlady z33!!!!

i am still debating on getting the suede version of your wheel. i live in california and if i get caught without an airbag in a newer car, that would be hell ta pay.

anyways, what did you do to take that annoying airbag light out since you don't have an airbag anymore?

also, what part # is that nismo steering wheel and where do you get your nismo jdm parts from?

thanx,
john

What about the JDM wheel made in coordination (i guess) with Momo. It appears to have the airbag and all available options as USDM Zs, but I think it looks better. It's just that all Nissans seem to get about the same steering wheel.

That stitching is awesome. It reminds me of the dash on this 360 Modena I saw a few weeks ago. The whole dash in the 360 is like that.

By the way, where can I get the shift ****???

Since trying to get everyone else off subject didn't work, I'll just ask my stupid question. Does anyone think the Momo wheel from 350zonline.com's gallery will work on a US Z? I'm sure the wheel itself would work, but if you couldn't get the airbag to function too, then the swap would be pointless. So what Z fan can give me a definative argument?

I'd post a pic of the wheel, but it's too big. Help, anyone?

Guess you don't need cruise control. Hey, you wanna sell me your stock steering wheel?

I need cruise. And the next ? for everyone, if I get a steering wheel with the cruise sontrol, what else would I need for my car to make cruise work?

Name your price,

BTW, I have the same remote for my stereo

From this thread by Nocturnal: That momo steering wheel is a Nissan Factory Options from Japan. It does have Air Bag. I guess it will fit on all of the Nissan that have Air Bag. There are no cruise control on all Japanese spec 350Z as I understand, and I think the reason is that there are NO STRAIGHT HIGHWAY in Japan. All Highway in Japan are a continous snake, this was decided long ago as the best way to prevent drivers from sleeping from driving on long trips. Maybe thats why there isn't cruise control on this thing.

Id Imagine CC is tied into the drive by wire system. your guess is as good as mine, on how youd retrofit that.
