Headlight Help Needed!
I have a 2005 Z. I imported it to europe.
Since it has xenon headlights, in order to register it here in europe i need to install a headlight washing system. It is european law.
I know the base model of the 05 had ONLY Halogen bulbs. Halogen bulbs do not require washers, only xenon (it has to do with the lumens rating).
@Would it be possible to "downgrade" to the halogen bulbs? I know the high beam is already a halogen bulb, the low beam is the xenon.
@@Does anyone know anything about a retrofit kit to install a headlight washing system?
I took it to some people here and they want some big bucks to do this upgrade.
Any help anyone can provide would be great.

Welcome. I have seen the Europe 350Z with plastic covering the washing system, but have never seen the system exposed.
There are kits to go from no-HID to HID. Going from HID to no-HID would have to be do-it-yourself.
Ask in your regional forum what members are doing.

Thank you.
I think I could probably rewire in the halogens.
I would need the bulb holder for the halogens (with some wire left on the end), but would I need anything else? relay, actual headlight, etc...?
I do know that lots of people have done the HID upgrade, so hopefully some of them kept the halogen components.
Anyone else have any reason why this would not be an option??
