Default White/Silver roof overlay

After browsing these forums, i noticed a few white and silver Z's with black vinyl roof overlays. I think they look great and counteract the light body color great. My question: I have a dark blue Z 2007, and was thinking a white or silver vinyl roof overlay would look pretty cool and unique. Does anyone make or sell these? Has anyone done this?

Nevermind. It can only be done with black as it flows and connects the rear and front windows. Has anyone done a black overlay on the dark blue Z( I think its called san marino)

Welcome. You can get the roof wrapped in any color that you want. Don't talk about it . Make it happen.

That idea reminds me of a Toyota FJ Cruiser or Ford Flex.. It'd probably look bad.
Btw, black on blue would look good. Especially if you have black rims and tinted tails.

If you wanna know what it would look like just Photoshop a pic of your car. Or if you don't have PS I'll do it. Just post a pic.

the white might look ok, not willing to risk it. Im definitely looking into a black overlay. Does anyone have a picture of the san marino with a black roof?

Yeah i done it myself. Its a 9year vinyl and i got 2 sheets 24"wide x 38"long and i had about 1inch or so to play with.. The heat gun(hair dryer) is a must! It took me around an hour, then the next day I let it bake in the sun to get the little bubbles out.. When u put this on your roof you will see many dents you couldn't see before lol. But it still looks good!

the only color that would really look good is one that match the tint on your windows.

The point of the roof overlay is to connect the dark look of the windshield and rear window. Those colors will just make the roof stand out and look wierd.
I have a flat black roof overlay sitting in my closet right now. Ive had it for 3months im just afraid to do it myself incase i ruin it. If you think you might be interested i can measure it and sell it. throw me an offer. Its a huge vinyl though (not precut). Its enough for me to cover my roof and was planning on doing the middle of my front bumper under the grill and possibly my corner reflectors. i think it looks great. reguardless go for it.

Hey I photoshopped some pics for you real quick to give you an idea of what it would look like.

Thanks SharpShooter23 for the pic. I hope you don't mind. I'll remove them if you ask

I have my reflectors done also. I took them out and vinyl wrapped around them so when I installed them you won't be able to see where it's cut. They turned out good too.
